More Sunday Stamps Gold!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Sunday.  Hope your day is going well. I'll be watching TV later tonight as the season finale of Breaking Bad is tonight!! But I made some time to stamp earlier today.

Our current Sunday Stamps color challenge continues to inspire me and I'm back today with a little more inspiration.  There is still time for you to join us, you have until this Friday, October 4th, 6 pm EST to play along. Thanks to all of you who have played along, great cards ladies!

I made 3x3 cards using the Magical Masking Tape technique from Splitcoast Stampers using Calypso Coral and Pistachio Pudding.  The tutorial states to use glossy card stock but I used Whisper White and it worked fine for me. I had so much fun with this technique and I also used our Gold Embossing Powder. I kept the cards simple to highlight the technique and the butterflies. I know I'll be using this technique again.

Tomorrow is also the last day to take advantage of the bundle to save 15% when purchasing the Papillon Stamp Set with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. Remember you can shop my online store anytime.  Click here to purchase this great bundle.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Until next time friends!

Perfect Blend

Hello fellow stampers! Happy Wednesday to you.  It's been a busy week for me at my "other" job so I've been relaxing by creating.  You ever do that? It's good for me to use the other part of my brain. I was inspired by two blog challenges; the Dynamic Duos with their current color challenge (Crumb Cake & Basic Black) and the Techno Stamper with a sketch challenge. A Perfect Blend of challenges. :)

Perfect Blend is turning out to be one of my new favorite stamp sets to play with. It's a fun set to paper piece with and create a 3D effect.  It's a bit hard to see in the photo but I used the crayon resist technique on the edges of my cup, using a white crayon, then sponging with Crumb Cake onto the cup. It's a nice subtle effect. The Dynamic Duos challenge also had an option to use wet embossing and I used clear embossing powder on the lid and white embossing powder on the sentiment. I really like the designs in the Season of Style DSP Stack from the current Holiday catalog because you can use the patterns for everyday cards, not just holidays. What do you think?

Here's a closer photo of the coffee cup. You can see the white edges on the cup and the embossed lid better.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Until next time.

We have a new color challenge at Nacho Average Challenges starting today. I think it's perfect for a fall theme card, or at least that's what I chose to do.

Hope you will play along with me and my fellow Nachos. Come check us out for inspiration with the beautiful color combo. Can't wait to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by today.

New Nacho Sketch!

Happy Tuesday friends! Hope your week is going well!  I'm back today with a new sketch challenge with my fellow Nachos. Thanks to all of you who are playing along with us, we love to see your creations! Make sure you come check us out.

The sketch inspired me to create a Halloween card. I inked up the largest stamp from the Layered Labels stamp set onto Basic Black and embossed it with white embossing powder. I also used a strip of washi tape from the Witches' Brew Designer pack to create a rosette.  This is a fun sketch, I know I will be using it again!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Tag It, Celebrate!

Happy Sunday Stampers!  Hope your day is going well.  We got lots of rain today, which is a nice change of weather!

We have a fun new sketch for you at Sunday Stamps starting today.  Thank to all of you who play with us, we love seeing your creations. My fellow designers have once again created beautiful creations. Hope you will play along with us.

This color combo put me in a festive mood! I chose Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. I hope Daffodil Delight doesn't get mad, but I'm crushing on Crushed Curry right now, lol! I used the coordinating markers to ink up the Tag It stamp set. I used the large scallop edgeless with the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to create my border in Crushed Curry. So would say this little creature is a lizard or a gecko? I don't know, but he or she is super cute! I couldn't resist using one of the googly eyes from  previous catalogs. I also couldn't resist using a strip of DSP from the Eastern Elegance DSP.

Well, that's all for now my friends!  Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a wonderful week.

Halloween Bash Beware

Hello Stampers! Happy Friday!  I'm back today with another card creation for a blog challenge, this time again for Create with Connie and Mary. It's a color challenge using Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit and Basic Black.  I did use a bit of Whisper White.  Still finding different ways to use the splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, which on my card I embossed it with white embossing powder. I learned how to make this bow at our last ShoeBox Swap using the oval punch.

Hope you have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend.  Thanks for stopping by! Until next time.

Hello Lovely...

Hello Stampers!  Well I've been on a creative roll this week! I've neglected a few of my house chores, lol, but nothing I can't complete on the weekends.  I'm trying to be better about using up more of my current (and some retired) items before purchasing more. Not as easy task when there is so much inspiration out there!

I have a simple card to share with you today that I entered into two different challenges. I played along with the Dynamic Duos color challenge; pairing Perfect Plum with my color choice.  I chose Blushing Bride and Basic Black as my neutral.

I followed the sketch from Fab Friday as this is their 25th sketch. Can't wait to see what other color and sketch challenges they have in store for us to play along with.

Thanks for stopping by today! Stop by tomorrow for another card creation for another blog challenge. Until next time.

Thanks So much!

Hello Stampers.  Happy Wednesday!  Hope your week is going great!

I have another fall theme card to share with you today.  I followed the color challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  I LOVE this combo and will be using it more.  The richness of all three colors are prefect for fall!  Make sure you stop by their blog to check out all the inspiration from this color combo here.

I inked up the new Magnificent Maple stamp from Holiday Catalog. Sometimes I wish we truly had seasons here in Phoenix instead of summer, good thing I can escape with my paper crafts. I truly love the Woodgrain Embossing Folder, I think it is a must for any fall project. Yes, I did use my Eastern Elegance DSP again; Crushed Curry is popular! I also used a piece of Tangerine Tango from the Brights DSP Stack.

I love how our new Designer Buttons (the large ones) fit prefect inside the A Fitting Occasion circular text stamps. I didn't know that so it was a lovely surprise. Another reason for me to use this stamp set more!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until next time.

Thanks much.

Hello Stampers! Hope your Labor Day weekend is going well.  If you are off work today, hope you are enjoying it.  I'm back today with another creation for the Freshly Made Sketches blog.  It's a sketch with banners!  So much inspiration from this one sketch.  Make sure to check out their blog here.

I was inspired to ink up my Papillion Potpourri stamp set for this sketch.  I chose a color combo from our Color Coach; Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana. The DSP is Eastern Elegance.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until next time.
