Stampin' Royalty

Happy Monday Stampers! Hope the last day of March is going well for you. I can't believe another month has gone by! Hope you're having fun!

Today, I'm playing along with the Design Team from Stampin' Royalty and they have an awesome sketch that caught my eye! Thanks for the inspiration ladies! With today being the last day for Sale-A-Bration I figured I use the Sweet Sorbet DSP.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I really like this sketch because you can use all your DSP in different ways and it because the colors coordinate, it doesn't look too busy. The base of my card is Pool Party and layering the different DSPs with Basic Black kept the color scheme consistent for me. Instead of using another block of DSP I punch out some DSP banners with the Banner Punch. Did you know the Banner Punch will be carried over into the new 2014-2015 Annual Stampin' Catalog? Yes it is! Yippee! I also used the Spanish version of the You're Lovely stamp set, another SAB set! This card came together really quick for me, think I'll be using the sketch for future cards! :)

Thanks for visiting my blog today! Until next time.

Pink Banners!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Wednesday! I'm back today to share a new creation, still using our Nacho color combination. Loving this color combo! Probably the most I've used Rose Red!

Here is how I used it this time around:

I saw a sketch similar to this on Pinterest and thought it would work great with our Banner Blast stamp set and the coordinating banner punch, which is part of Sale-a-Bration (SAB)! The last day for SAB is this coming Monday, March 31st so if you want to want to earn something with a $50 (US) order, let me know! I do know that the Banner Punch will be carried over into the new Annual Catalog! Yay!

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.

Nacho Pinks!

Happy Nacho Tuesday Stampers!! Hope your week is off to a great start! We have a beautiful new Nacho color challenge for you starting today. Beautiful inspiration from my fellow designers, come check us out and play along!

I also used the current sketch from Sunday Stamps, which I also design for. Great opportunity to combine two great blog challenges!

Here is how I used our Nacho color challenge:

Lots of circles on this card. The large circle stamp is from the February Paper Pumpkin, a great kit! I colored the flower with Rose Red re-inker.

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.

Sunday Stamps Sketch!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Hope you had a great Sunday! I spent my entire day with my grandfather working on the yard planting flowers and remembering younger days. It was a great day for me.

This week at Sunday Stamps Steph has a great new sketch for us to play along with! We hope it inspires you to create something fun!

I used the items from my March Paper Pumpkin kit! The base of my card is Coastal Cabana and I love how it looks with gold! I wanted to glitter the sentiment, but then I realized I didn't have any gold glitter, guess I need to add that to my ever growing list of supplies that I must get, lol!

Thanks for stopping by tonight! Until next time.

Nacho Watercolor

Happy Tuesday Stampers! Hope your week is off to a great start! We have a fabulous new color challenge for you to try out this week. Hope you play along with us, the Nachos! Can't wait to see what you create!

Below is how I used our color challenge:

Perfect colors for spring! I did a lot of cutting with this card, but it was worth it. Loving the Happy Watercolor stamp set!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Until next time.

Sunday Stamps Watercolor

Happy Sunday Stampers! It's the first Sunday in March and we have a wonderful color challenge for the next two weeks to inspire you at Sunday Stamps. Thanks to all of you who played along with us using Marie's sketch, wasn't it great!

The weather has been beautiful in Phoenix the last couple of days, with high 70s sometimes low 80s, but I suspect that it will be a very hot summer! Might as well enjoy the comfortable weather while we can. Anyhow, remember you can use any brands of stamping products for your creation. We hope you will join us, love seeing what you create.

This is how I used our colors:

The base of my card is Baked Brown Sugar, layered with another piece of Baked Brown Sugar, stamped with the Hardwood Background stamp in bleach! Have you ever stamped with bleach? I love it, try it out if you haven't yet. I also inked up for the first time the Happy Watercolor stamp set from the Occasions catalog. I'll be using that stamp set a lot more! I also used two Sale-A-Breation sets that you can earn for Free; Banner Blast and the same set in Spanish.

I also used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch blog for my creation today. The cool thing is there is no time limit to link up your creation to their site!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and have a chance to create today! Until next time.

Here is how I decorated the bags:

Nacho...Bunny!

Happy Tuesday everyone! How's your week going? We, the Nachos, have a fun new sketch for you at  Nacho Average Challenges. We hope you will join us! Love seeing what you create!

Here is my creation, took some creative liberty with the sketch, hope you can still see the sketch.

I was in the mood to create an Easter card for our sketch this week. Not sure if the final result of my card is what I was thinking in my head, but it looks cute!

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.

Feliz...Freshly Made Sketches

Happy Monday Stampers! How was your Sunday? I spent it multi-tasking; doing laundry, creating, cleaning, catching up on episodes of Once Upon a Time. Love that show! Hope your week is off to a great start! I'm glad it's March! March always makes me think of Spring and my upcoming Birthday.

There's a fun sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and I wanted to play along before the link closes. I don't get a chance to play along with them often enough.

Here is my take on the sketch:

Not sure why my photo editing turned my white background somewhat blue...sorry about that.  As a bilingual Stampin' Up! demonstrator I realize that I don't create many cards in Spanish that often, not sure why. I'm fortunate that Stampin' Up! offers several stamps not only in Spanish but other languages. I used the Spanish version of My Mother, Mi Madre. I plan on making several cards using this stamp set, not only for my mother, but for my aunts, my grandmother and friends.

Thanks for stopping by today friends, until next time! Hasta luego!

Fab Sunday!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Hope your weekend is going well.  There is still time for you to play along with us at Sunday Stamps with the great sketch that Marie designed for us. Have you seen all the wonderful entries with this sketch? Come check it out! You have until this Friday, March 7th at 6 pm EST.

The designers over at Fab Friday are featuring my favorite color combo right and I couldn't resist playing along. Hope you're not getting tired of me using these colors. So much inspiration from the Design Team. Check them out also!

Here is what I created combining both challenges:

I created my own background paper using the technique called Joseph's Coat! So much fun but messy, which is fine with me, makes me feel more artistic, lol.

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.
