Fab Cookie Cutter

Happy Tuesday Stampers!  Happy Tuesday! It's Election Day in the U.S.A. and honestly, I can't wait for this election to be over! I'm being more intentional with my creating and using retired product, all while buying new stuff. So far so I'm good and playing along with sketch challenges is helping me. The awesome sketch from Fab Friday inspired me to create. Love the creations from the Design Team, such inspiration. Check them out, or better yet, play along!

The sketch inspired me to combined some new items with some retired items, best of both worlds, right! The cute scarecrow is from the stamp set Cookie Cutter Halloween from the 2016 Holiday Catalog. One of my favorite stamp sets, love it!  Did you notice the stitched square, it's  NEW! It's from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, which will debut in June 2017!  The DSP is retired as is the ribbon. Perfect combo for a fall card.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have an awesome day!

November Blog Hop!

Happy November 1st Friends! Hope you had a fun Halloween! Can't believe it is now November 1st. The year is quickly winding down and before you know it, it will be 2017!  Wow!  If you are just arriving, you just saw Barb's beautiful creation. Isn't it beautiful?

Here is my creation for our blog hop this month. I saw the sketch on Just Add Ink and was inspired to use it for my card. Lots of great inspiration on their blog, check them out.

I used the stamp set "Acorny Thank You", which I thought was perfect for our fall theme. I used the new Copper Foil Sheets and the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper from the 2016 Holiday Catalog as well as the Seasonal Decorative Masks.

Up next is Mary. Can't wait to see her beautiful creation this month.

Thanks for joining us once again this month. Hope you have an awesome week.

October Blog Hop

Hello Stampers and Friends!  Welcome to another fun blog hop with my fellow demonstrators from Di's Country INKers!  We have a fun theme for you today!  HALLOWEEN!  Since it is officially October 1st, we thought it would be fun to showcase a variety of projects celebrating Halloween. I like Halloween and every year I say I'm going to be better about creating cards and actually sending them out!  I'm off to a good start this year!  If  you are just arriving, you had a chance to check out Barb's Blog and her beautiful creation!  She also created our beautiful blog hop buttons, perfect for our theme this month!

For my card, I used the Jar of Haunts stamp set! It is definitely one my favorite stamp sets from the 2016 Holiday Catalog. The Designer Series Paper is called Halloween Night Specialty DSP. I'm so happy this stamp set coordinates with the Everyday Jars Framelit Dies! I love mason jars. Plus this stamp set is so cute!

Throwback Thursday, with a jar.

Happy Thursday Stampers! Hope your week is going well.  So I'm been slowly working on reorganizing my craft room, which seems like a never-ending story.  I start, I stall, and then keep working. It's a work in progress for me. I realized how much retired Designer Series Paper, accessories and other items I have. I keep telling myself that I'm going to use it all but one look through the new catalogs and I want NEW stuff. Well, when I came across the sketch challenge over at Fab Friday I was inspired to use retired products with the new stamp set Jar of Haunts. Make sure you check out the samples from the Fab Friday Designers, beautiful cards.

I used the new stamp set Jar of Haunts from the 2016 Holiday catalog. I love this stamp set! The Designer Series Paper I used on my card includes Howlstooth & Scaringbone, Typeset Speciality and Color Me Irresistible Speciality. The sentiment is from the stamp set Googly Ghouls.  This card came together very quickly for me, which is a good thing because I do plan on sending cards for Halloween.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have an awesome Thursday!

August Blog Hop

Happy Monday Stampers! Can you believe it is August 1st!  This year is flying by!  Good thing I'm having fun and enjoying my summer.  Speaking of summer, it's our theme for this months blog hop with my fellow Country INKers. Summer in Phoenix, Arizona is, well HOT.  You know you've been in Phoenix during the summer months for a long time when you can tell the difference between 113 and 90 degree weather. Trust me, you can! But summer time is also a time to relax, hang out by the pool, spend late nights outside gazing at the stars. As long as you have air conditioner, you're good.

If you are just stopping by, you have arrived after visiting Barb's blog.  She once again created our beautiful blog hop buttons.  She always creates such great projects.

My project features an exclusive, limited-time bundle Thoughtful Branches.  It will be available to order starting tomorrow, August 2nd. It is such a beautiful bundle.  I'll be posting more samples throughout the week.  This set inspired me for our blog hop today because of all the beautiful flowers that bloom during the summer. Love how our new In-Colors pair well with each other.

Up next is Crystal. Can't wait to see what she has in store for us!

Di's Country INKers July Blog Hop

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to another edition of Di's Country INKers Blog Hop!  Every 1st of the month we have a fun themed blog hop.  For the month of July, (WOW, July already!) our theme is Red, White and Blue!  Did you check out Barb's beautiful creation? And aren't our blog hop buttons awesome!

So, can you see the Red, White and Blue theme in my card? I may have stretched the theme a bit...

Loving the Jar of Love stamp set and the coordinating framelits. So many possibilities with this stamp set. Getting the bundle is your best bet. The base of my card is Dapper Denim, a new InColor.  I layered Shimmery White card stock on top of it. It doesn't scream patriotic but I like how it turned out.

Can't wait to see what Crystal has in store for us! She always has fun creations to share with us all.

Fab Groovy Love

Happy Wednesday Stampers! Hope your week is going well.  We had a wonderful time in Tucson/Tubac over the weekend. It's amazing how quickly the weekend goes. There were a couple of time where Mother Nature inspired me to get back to creating. You know when you get that "itch to create?"

The fabulous designers over at the Fab Friday Stampin Challenge blog inspired me to once again create with a wonderful color challenge.  At first I was having a mental block as far as to how design my card...so I looked through the current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and the sample on page 129 caught my eye.  I've been wanting to ink up stamp sets that are being retired, so I picked up Groovy Love. This is another stamp set that I have not inked up enough.  It coordinates with our Sweetheart punch.

This is actually a very soft color combo and you can see how the Designers created such beautiful creations with this combo. You should play along too!

Stamp Sets: Groovy Love and Work of Art
Ink: Crumb Cake, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Color Me Irresistible Speciality DSP
Other: Stamping Sponges, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Stampin' Dimensionals
I didn't have any Lost Lagoon card stock and then I realized I had the Color Me Irresistible Speciality DSP so I made my own.  I sponged with Lost Lagoon ink. Very cool, why didn't I use it before? LOL.

I really like my final result. Now I need to decide who I should give this card to. Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time.
