"Tap Tap Tap", Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Stampers! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I recently started hiking and I've come to really enjoy it. Yesterday I hiked Echo Canyon Trail at Camelback Mountain with my sisters. It was a great challenge and we conquered it. Such an amazing feeling to complete it.

It's been a long time since I've blogged, let alone create something. I recently viewed our upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual catalog and I LOVE IT!  So many great stamp sets and accessories! Can't wait to place my preorder. For course, when new items are coming, room has to be made for them, hence our retired stamp sets and accessories has been released. Realizing how many items are retiring, it gave me a creative push to use my stuff!

The Designers over at the Fab Friday Blog Challenge have a great sketch that inspired me to create something! I can definitely see myself using this sketch over and over. Make sure to check out their blog for more inspiration with this sketch.

Here is how the sketch inspired me:

The used the stamp set called "Tap Tap Tap" which is being retired. I feel sad because I didn't ink it up that much and I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep it or not. I'm really bummed  to say goodbye to Blackberry Bliss, it's been one of my favorite In-Colors. In fact, it was the main color I used for my wedding. I will definitely keep this color around. My color combo is Blackberry Bliss, Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. I used the clear Wink of Stella to watercolor the type writer. It was a fun technique, can't wait to try it again.

Tap Tap Tap

Hi Stampers! Hope your week is going well!  I'm sharing a card I made for an organized swap I joined via the demonstrator only website, Stampin' Connection. I signed up for four groups so I was to make 20 full cards in each group, using new stamp sets from the catalog.

At the catalog premier event in Mesa, back in April, this stamp set Tap Tap Tap, was featured and I fell in love with it! As soon as June 1st (when the full catalog went live) came I knew I was adding this stamp set to my order.  I'm also loving the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

What about you? What have you ordered from the new catalog since it went live June 1st? My wish list continues to grow!
