Dia De Los Muertos Greeting Card

Welcome Crafty Friends!  Welcome to our Dia de Los Muertos Crafty Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing line up!  Make sure you visit all the blogs for some great inspiration!

Tons of meaningful projects to make that celebrate Dia de los Muertos!

I'm a paper crafter and I created a handmade greeting card featuring a Dia de Los Muertos couple. The technique I used with my background paper is called the starburst technique. Great technique to highlight your favorite background paper. The background paper is from Crafty Chica Papers and the series is called Mojito Papers. I've had these papers for awhile and always happy to use them during this time of year. I love Dia de los Muertos and here in Phoenix, Arizona there are lots of festivals and events to celebrate the passing of our loved ones.

Di's Country INKers Blog Hop

Hello Stampers! Welcome back to another fun blog hop featuring my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We are all part of Diana Gibb's Country INKers group. If you are just arriving, wasn't Barb's creation awesome! As always, her blog buttons are super cute!

The inspiration for my card came from Wicked, the musical. It is currently playing at the ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, AZ. I've seen the play before and loved it!

I CASE'd the beautiful card from Jennifer Timko and her fabulous creation using the partial die cut word border tutorial. This was a fun card to make. Definitely practice on scrap paper first before you start cutting your DSP. Can you imagine all the fun cards you can make with the Little Letters Thinlits? Might be a good idea to have a second set on hand for extra letters. Have you tried this technique before?

Up next is Crystal, can't wait to see what great project she has in store for us! Make sure to leave some comments on everyone's blogs.
