Happy Halloween!

Hello Stampers! Happy Halloween!  Hope you get lots of treats and not so many tricks today!  I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by!

I have a super cute card to share with you today, I received this one in the mail from my good friend Gloria Lucio.  I LOVE IT!! Love the texture on the dress, the ribbon is cute and those  little black cats are so cute! Thank you Gloria!  I love that through stamping and paper-crafting I make great friends! I'm blessed to call Gloria (and Gwen, Becky and Alicia) friends!

Have an awesome day! Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

A Fitting Occasion...baby

Happy Nacho Tuesday Stampers! So happy to be back with you all today to share a new creation for our new Nacho Average Challenges.  This new sketch is so fun! I can see myself using it to create other cards. Hope you can join us, we love to see what you create.

I made this baby card for my cousin who is expecting her first child and she and her husband are having a baby girl. Hope she likes it.

Last night, new episodes of Long Island Medium on TLC aired and I can not watch a single episode without shedding a tear. The personal stories of those who have passed away and those they leave behind are so emotional and powerful. Do you watch it?

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

Hello friends!  If you're coming over from my other blog, thanks for stopping by.  This is my new home and will continue to maintain only this blog.

Please follow me to my new blog here where you can see more of my creations and read about my ramblings!  Thanks!

Halloween Boo!

Hello Stampers....happy Wednesday!

Am I excited to share with you today! These week at Dynamic Duos the color challenge has a dessert option of Halloween! Even though my Halloween decorations are not up (yet), Halloween is on my mind with the various Halloween cards I've been making lately.

So you ask, what you are excited to share? Well, exciting for me because I found a different way to use one of my Tags 4 You stamp set, the Trick of Treat one.  I love how the Morning Post Alphabet works great with the Label Bracket punch! YAY!  I know, wow, big deal, lol, but when it comes to stamping supplies, finding a different way to use my tools is a big highlight. So now, I have four more designs that I can use with that stamp set!

I kept the front design of my card simple. What no ribbon, buttons, bling? Nope, just a simple BOO will do...

...because the inside of my card is the scariest! Watch out for the ghost! Well maybe it's not so scary after all.

Thanks for stopping by today and entertaining my excitement! Until next time!

For You...Nacho Tuesday

Happy Nacho Tuesday Stampers! Hope your week is going well.  We have a fun new color combo for you at Nacho Average and it has so many possibilities. Make sure you check out the color inspiration from my fellow designers. And of course, we hope you will play along with us.

I made a simple card for our challenge this week. I didn't think Midnight Muse would stand out as the main color, but it did...sometimes my creations have a mind of their own, lol.

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

Sunday Stamps Color!

Happy Sunday Stampers!  Welcome back.  I'm back today with a new Sunday Stamps creation. For the next two weeks, we have a beautiful color challenge for you to play with.  My fellow Sunday Stamps Designers will inspire you with their creations.  Come check us out and play along with us.

I've been getting lots of use out of my Woodgrain Embossing Folder, it's one of my favorites! I made a square frame with the squares collection framelits, lots of possibilities with them. I used Early Espresso for my brown and I also had the coordinating embossing powder. I inked up the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment from Tags 4 You and punched it out with the label bracket punch. Simple card that you can change out the main image and the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

Techno Tis' The Season Stamper

Happy Saturday Stampers! Hope your weekend is off to a beautiful start.  I spent last night creating my cards as part of the Design Team for Sunday Stamps and Nacho Average, which I'll show you later this  week. I started watching The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which I kept missing various parts of the movie. I love Gandalf's character.  But then I never knew about the fifth wizard! WOW!  Someday I'll read the books.

Anyhow, on to my card. I'm participating in a new blog challenge, Tis' The Season, which was started by my friend and fellow designer and creator of Sunday Stamps blog challenge Holly. It's a fun blog challenge where it's Christmas all year long.  They have a color challenge this week which inspired me to create a nontraditional Christmas card-using bright colors! Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Pear Pizzazz.

I'm also participating once again in the blog Techno Stamper with Mary Jo's sketch. I love it when I can combine blog challenges, at least color ones and sketches. So much inspiration from both blogs.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have a great Saturday.  Come back tomorrow to see my new creation for Sunday Stamps.

Fab Friday Mashup

*Edited* A huge thanks to Cindy from The Friday Mashup!, she picked my card as her favorite! Thanks Cindy!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Wednesday to you!  I'm looking forward to Friday already and I have a fun creation celebrating Fridays with you today.  I've combined two blog challenges into one card; Friday Mashup and Fab Friday!

I had fun creating this card.  I used the color combo from Fab Friday and the sketch from Friday Mashup to create a spooky project. My card has some retired and new items, but it all works! Thanks for the inspiration Fab Friday and Friday Mashup!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using "the Sketch."
  2. Create a "Spooky" project.
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Spooky project using the above sketch. "

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!  Until next time.

Nacho Tuesday Christmas

Happy Tuesday Nachos! Hope your week is off to a great start!  We have a fun new sketch for you at Nacho Average Challenges and the variety of creations from our Design Team is full of inspiration. We hope you will join us, we love visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.

I made a Christmas card using our sketch.  I used the color combo suggested by the new Color Coach, Garden Green, Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler. I sponged the woodgrain embossing folder with white craft ink-loving this look!  I took out my Owl Builder punch and used the Baked Brown Sugar ruffle stretch trim to create the look of a nest. The DSP and the sentiment are both retired but they worked great for my card. I think I found one of my designs for my Christmas cards this year!

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

A Fitting...thank you.

Hello Stampers!  Hope your Monday night is going well.  I've become a fan of the new show, Sleepy Hollow. Interesting show, doesn't seem as scary now, well maybe tonight's episode isn't as scary as previous ones.

I'm entering a new card creation into two challenge blogs that are new to me. I fell in love with the color combo at Just Add Ink and the sketch at Unscripted Sketches. I inked my Fitting Occasion stamp set, which I don't use often enough. It's a great stamp set with great images that can be used in many ways. Lots of inspiration from both blogs, hopefully I will play along with them again soon.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Magical Regarding Dahlias

Happy Wednesday Stampers! Hope your week is going well.  I'm back today with another creation to share with you, using once again the Regarding Dahlias stamp set and the Magical Masking technique. Told you I would use this technique again. Have you tried it yet?

I used the sketch from Fab Friday and the current color scheme from The Dynamic Duos for my creation. I also decorated the inside of my card with the sentiment.

It's hard to see in the photo but I sprayed the flower with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, love that stuff! I also stamped the dahlia with VersaMark onto the top left and bottom right corners of the Blushing Bride card stock.

Here is another photo of my card.

Nacho Tuesday

Happy Nacho Tuesday friends! We have a fun new sketch for you to play along with us.  Come check us out and hope it will inspire you to create!

This week will also be a month since I've been designing for the Nacho Average Blog Challenge. I've been having fun and I'm honored to be designing with such talented women!

I have to share with you my "nacho cheese" story.  Amongst my friends I'm known as a nacho cheese snob, in a good way. You see I love eating nachos.  BUT, I'm particular about which nacho cheese I eat.  Right now, my favorite is this one. So when friends make nachos, I always ask, "which nacho cheese did you use", lol. If it's not this one, I won't eat them.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Until next time.
