October Blog Hop

Hello Stampers and Friends!  Welcome to another fun blog hop with my fellow demonstrators from Di's Country INKers!  We have a fun theme for you today!  HALLOWEEN!  Since it is officially October 1st, we thought it would be fun to showcase a variety of projects celebrating Halloween. I like Halloween and every year I say I'm going to be better about creating cards and actually sending them out!  I'm off to a good start this year!  If  you are just arriving, you had a chance to check out Barb's Blog and her beautiful creation!  She also created our beautiful blog hop buttons, perfect for our theme this month!

For my card, I used the Jar of Haunts stamp set! It is definitely one my favorite stamp sets from the 2016 Holiday Catalog. The Designer Series Paper is called Halloween Night Specialty DSP. I'm so happy this stamp set coordinates with the Everyday Jars Framelit Dies! I love mason jars. Plus this stamp set is so cute!

Up next is Mary!  Can't wait to see what awesome creation she has in store for us!

Di's Country INKers Blog Hop

Hello Stampers! Welcome back to another fun blog hop featuring my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We are all part of Diana Gibb's Country INKers group. If you are just arriving, wasn't Barb's creation awesome! As always, her blog buttons are super cute!

The inspiration for my card came from Wicked, the musical. It is currently playing at the ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, AZ. I've seen the play before and loved it!

I CASE'd the beautiful card from Jennifer Timko and her fabulous creation using the partial die cut word border tutorial. This was a fun card to make. Definitely practice on scrap paper first before you start cutting your DSP. Can you imagine all the fun cards you can make with the Little Letters Thinlits? Might be a good idea to have a second set on hand for extra letters. Have you tried this technique before?

Up next is Crystal, can't wait to see what great project she has in store for us! Make sure to leave some comments on everyone's blogs.

Happy Halloween!

Hello Stampers! Happy Halloween!  Hope you get lots of treats and not so many tricks today!  I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by!

I have a super cute card to share with you today, I received this one in the mail from my good friend Gloria Lucio.  I LOVE IT!! Love the texture on the dress, the ribbon is cute and those  little black cats are so cute! Thank you Gloria!  I love that through stamping and paper-crafting I make great friends! I'm blessed to call Gloria (and Gwen, Becky and Alicia) friends!

Have an awesome day! Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

Halloween Boo!

Hello Stampers....happy Wednesday!

Am I excited to share with you today! These week at Dynamic Duos the color challenge has a dessert option of Halloween! Even though my Halloween decorations are not up (yet), Halloween is on my mind with the various Halloween cards I've been making lately.

So you ask, what you are excited to share? Well, exciting for me because I found a different way to use one of my Tags 4 You stamp set, the Trick of Treat one.  I love how the Morning Post Alphabet works great with the Label Bracket punch! YAY!  I know, wow, big deal, lol, but when it comes to stamping supplies, finding a different way to use my tools is a big highlight. So now, I have four more designs that I can use with that stamp set!

I kept the front design of my card simple. What no ribbon, buttons, bling? Nope, just a simple BOO will do...

...because the inside of my card is the scariest! Watch out for the ghost! Well maybe it's not so scary after all.

Thanks for stopping by today and entertaining my excitement! Until next time!

Fab Friday Mashup

*Edited* A huge thanks to Cindy from The Friday Mashup!, she picked my card as her favorite! Thanks Cindy!

Hello Stampers!  Happy Wednesday to you!  I'm looking forward to Friday already and I have a fun creation celebrating Fridays with you today.  I've combined two blog challenges into one card; Friday Mashup and Fab Friday!

I had fun creating this card.  I used the color combo from Fab Friday and the sketch from Friday Mashup to create a spooky project. My card has some retired and new items, but it all works! Thanks for the inspiration Fab Friday and Friday Mashup!

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project using "the Sketch."
  2. Create a "Spooky" project.
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a "Spooky project using the above sketch. "

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!  Until next time.

Halloween Bash Beware

Hello Stampers! Happy Friday!  I'm back today with another card creation for a blog challenge, this time again for Create with Connie and Mary. It's a color challenge using Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit and Basic Black.  I did use a bit of Whisper White.  Still finding different ways to use the splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, which on my card I embossed it with white embossing powder. I learned how to make this bow at our last ShoeBox Swap using the oval punch.

Hope you have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend.  Thanks for stopping by! Until next time.

Tricky Treats...

Hello friends!  I know, it's been a long time since I've posted anything...partly because I'm still a bit overwhelmed by maintaining a blog and seeing other SU! Demo blog makes me wish mine was set up better.  But, no excuses, the only way to master something is to tackle it straight on.  So here I go...

Our new Stampin' Up! catalog was released earlier this year, the new kick off date was June 1st and amazing how quickly time is going by!  One of the perks that I enjoy about being a Stampin' Up! demo is that we can pre-order items in advance before they are released to the public.  I ordered a few new items and I've slowing starting creating with some of them.

This card is for a swap my Upline, Diana Gibbs is organizing using new stamps from the catalog.  I love Halloween, though where I live, we don't get too many trick-or-treaters.  The stamp set is called "Tricky Treats" and all the images are so cute!  You can barely tell, but the spider web is covered with shimmer spritz.  Let me know what you think!  Thanks for taking a look and wish me luck as I continue this blogging adventure!
