Nacho...Kindness

Hello Stampers!  Happy Tuesday to you all!  I haven't had a chance to post any new creations lately but I hope you get back on track.

We have a fun new sketch for you today! We hope you will join us and create with us this week!  Did you see all the lovely creations from last week?  Wow, what a great variety!

So here is my take on the sketch:

Sorry my photo is not straight, didn't see that until it was too late. Keeping the Nacho sketch in mind, I  challenged myself to create a one layer card. What's that you ask, well, you stamp directly onto your card stock, in this case Whisper White. I don't make too many of this style of cards, but I think I should, especially when I have lots to create in a short time frame. I'm loving the Kinda Eclectic stamps set. What's your favorite new stamp set from the new catalog? Or is it too hard to decide right now?

Thanks for stopping by, until next time!

Nacho...Tap Tap Tap

Happy Tuesday Stampers! We have a fun new color challenge at Nacho Average Challenges. Hope you check us and create with us this week!

Truth be told, this color challenge kicked my behind! For some reason I thought Island Indigo was Pacific Point, don't know why! My fellow Nacho Designers rocked the color challenge though!
Thanks for stopping by today!  Until next time.

Sunday Stamps Friends

Happy Sunday Stampers! Happy Sunday to you all! Before I show you the new sketch we have for you at Sunday Stamps, I want to give a big blog shout out to a fellow Sunday Stamps Designer Hayley Kew who will be stepping down.  Will miss designing with you Hayley! Wish you all the best!

At the same time, I want to give another shout out to a new designer who will be joining our team, Angel Johns, welcome! Looking forward to designing with you Angel!

We have a fun new sketch for you to play along with us at Sunday Stamps. Remember our challenge runs for two weeks!

I love this sketch! So many ways to use it. I used a new stamp set, Friends Who Know on my card today. I used our Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blendabilities Markers over the doodles and the text. So fun! I'll be using this stamp set and the sketch again!

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time!

Freshly Made...Tis' The Season...Sketch

Good morning Stampers! It's almost the end of the week! Yay! Looking forward to the weekend as I hope to spend most of it creating! I have a new creation to share with you today!  This time, however, I inked up a different stamp set, thought I give Kinda Eclectic a break, lol.

The Designers over at Tis' The Season have an awesome color challenge and I combined it with sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. Amazing talent from both blogs, check them out if you have a chance!

Here is how their challenges inspired me:

I inked up Joyful Christmas again. Ever buy a holiday stamp set only to realize (for some reason) you didn't use it as much as you wanted to, initially? Well, that's my feeling with this stamp set, I want to ink it up as much as I can! Of course, it's more fun to play with it now, especially when I use our new Stampin' Blendabilities Markers! Wouldn't you know it, once I saw Rich Razzleberry as one of the colors to use, I knew I was going to be coloring! I really like how this came out but after I was done with it, and even now that I'm blogging about it, I want to step it up a bit...we'll see.

Well, I better get going! Lots to do today! Hope you have a wonderful Thursday!  Until next time!

Kinda Eclectic...Take 3

Hello Stampers!  Happy Wednesday!  Welcome back and thank you for visiting today! I have a new creation to share with you!

I loved the color combo from Create with Connie and Mary as well as the sketch from The Sweetest Thing that I combined both for my card today. Lots of inspiration from both blogs! Hope you like it!

I once again used the new stamp set, Kinda Eclectic. I am seriously loving this stamp set!  As I peruse different blog challenges to play along with, this is the first stamp set that comes to mind that I want to create with! The funny thing is that I have several NEW stamp sets that I have yet to ink up! Good thing I have all year to use them, lol. What's the rush, right!

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time!

Retro...Kinda Eclectic

Hello Stampers! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Happy Monday to you all.

I haven't played along with the designers at Retro Sketches in awhile and this week they have an awesome sketch that really inspired me. Check them out if you have a chance!

I inked up a new stamp for my creation today, Kinda Eclectic. This stamp set is going to be one of my new favorites from the new catalog. Already thinking of ways I can use it. And I'm loving the new InColors! Especially Blackberry Bliss! What about you, have you used any of the new InColors? If so, which one is your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow for another fun Nacho Average Challenge and a new creation featuring this stamp set! Until next time.

Another Something for Baby...

Good morning Stampers! Hope your week is going well.  It's been a hot week in Phoenix!  Staying indoors spending time creating is the how I'm having fun this week.

This past Monday night we had our group meeting with Rhonda Morgan and her INKin' All Night group.  It was a small gathering but it is always fun! The theme for our swap cards was Babies and Wedding and I chose to make another baby card.  I hope you're not getting tired of seeing baby cards with the Something for Baby stamp set and the coordinating framelits! This is such a fun bundle! I'm thinking of hosting a class with this bundle, so I'll keep you posted on it.

I did follow the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments although I did not link up in time. I really like this sketch and will be using it to create other cards. Hopefully next time I play along with them I'll link up my card in time!

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time my friends!

More Nacho Baby!

Hello Stampers! It's Tuesday, so that means it's another Nacho Average Challenge! My fellow Nachos and I have created a variety of projects with our color challenge. We hope it will inspire you to create with us!

I wanted to create something other than a card this week, so I decorated one of our mini muslin bag. I got a bit of halo effect when I stamped the flower onto the bag, but it has that handmade look, no?

Thanks for stopping by today, until next time!

Sunday Stamps...Twins!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Happy Sunday to you! Ah...the first Sunday of June! Can't believe it! The new Stampin' Catalog officially starts tomorrow!  Can't wait!

We have a fun new Sunday Stamps color challenge for you starting today!  Remember, our challenge runs for two weeks!  This color challenge stumped me for awhile but after seeing the creations from my fellow Sunday Stamp designers, I was inspired!  I hope it will inspire you as well.

Here is how I how I used our colors for today's card:

I've been having so much fun using this brand new stamp set, Something for Baby and the coordinating framelits, Baby's First. Now, I personally don't know anyone who is having twins, but I thought the sentiment was perfect for my card. The base of my card is Bermuda Bay layered with Sahara Sand.

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time!

Di's Country INKers June Blog Hop!

Hello Stampers! Welcome to the June edition of Di's Country INKers blog hop! We are super excited to share with you our creations featuring NEW items from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Catalog, which will officially go live tomorrow afternoon!  It's going to be a fun catalog year with all the new items!

It seems these days a popular thing to do, if you're expecting a baby is to have "gender reveal" parties. In other words, letting everyone know at once what the sex of your baby is.  So I was inspired to create a "gender reveal" card. Everything on my card is either new or current (being carried over into the new catalog) so if you would like to recreate this card, you can!

This is the front of my card, the base is Baked Brown Sugar layered with Pistachio Pudding and new DSP called Lullaby!

And when you open it up, here is the surprise!

I decorated all the panels on the inside of my card with a more girly theme:

I learned how to create this Unique Gatefold card by watching a video from Dee Slater. Lots of possibilities with this style of card! Love the way it came out!

Up next is the super talented Crystal!  She always amazes me! Isn't her project awesome!
