Freshly Made...Inspired

Happy Thursday Friends! Hope the new year is going well for you.  I honestly had wanted to create more and share it with you all, and  that hasn't happened too much. Or I haven't made time to create as much is more like it.  Seems like cleaning and organizing my craft room is a big hurdle which seems to stop me for a bit, but I'll keep tackling it in small steps.  This week when I saw the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches it stumped for a bit but it inspired me to finally create. I wanted to create a Valentine's theme card and I love the way it turned out. Make sure you check out what the designers from the Freshly Made Sketches blog created with this sketch.

I combined several Valentine's theme stamp sets, framelits, embossing folder and colors for my card. My card base is Rose Red card stock, layered with Basic Black card stock and then layered with Sweet Sugarplum. I used the new Falling Petals Textured Embossing Folder from the Occasions catalog. I also used the Sealed with Love Bundle, which has matching framelits. Aren't the mini envelopes cute!  I also used the Large Numbers Framelits Dies, with Red Glimmer Paper and the heart is from the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits cut out from watercolor paper and then watercolored with Rose Red ink with aqua painter. I also used the sentiments from the Bloomin' Love stamp set.

This card got me super excited to continue creating, going to duplicate this card and mail it out for Valentine's Day. Yay.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a great Thursday.

Until next time.
