'Tis The Season Designer

Happy Thursday Stampers! Hope your week is going well.

I'm so happy to share that I've been invited to join the designers at 'Tis The Season blog challenge. It's Christmas year round and we will be making Christmas card throughout the year based on different challenges. Come check us out and create with us. Our challenge runs for Thursday to the following Tuesday. This is a great way to get a head start on your Christmas cards instead of stressing out at the last minute, like me.

Below is how the photo inspired me:

Simple card to kick off my holiday card-making skills.  Hard to see that the sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder. Feel like I'm a bit rusty with Christmas cards, but I know the inspiration will kick in. Hope you will join us and creating along side us. Have a great week and weekend! Until next time.

Button Buddies Snowman

Hello again stampers!  Can't believe how quickly the day went today! I wanted to come home tonight and relax for a bit before I sat down to create, but my evening isn't going that route just yet.  By 6 pm it is already dark and mentally it feels like it is later in the evening so it just throws me off.

So here is another Christmas card I made.  Do you have own the Button Buddies stamp set? I love the variety of images in the set.  Mr. Snowman looks so much better with a button, doesn't he? And using the glitter paper is less messy when you want to create a quick card. Even on this card I used my paper piercing template again.

My friend love the handmade birthday card I made for her last night.  But sometimes I find that once I'm done creating a card, I'm at a loss for words.  Does that ever happen to you? I look at the space available inside the card to write something and I don't know where to begin.  So the other day, we were at Barnes and Noble (seems there aren't many local bookstores anymore) and I came across this small and simple book.  I picked it up and started reading a few pages and immediately knew I had to have it! It is filled with many special messages to inspire or jump start your writing.  It will go hand-in-hand with my hand made cards.  Check it out if you have a moment.

Now that my creative juices are flowing I'm excited because I have several handmade projects I need to complete this.  Once I finish them, I'll take photos so that I can show you.

Hope you have a wonderful evening.  Thanks again for stopping by.
