March Blog Hop

Welcome Stampers! It's time for another blog hop!  So excited that it's March 1st!  Spring is near, it's my birthday month and everything starts blooming!  Let's hope my creativity starts blooming as well. The theme for our blog hop this month is CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the Catty, in this case, our Annual Catalog or the Occasions Catalog. If you are just stopping by, you just arrived from Barb's awesome blog. Great project right?

I decided to CASE our Annual Catalog, using the stamp set "You've Got This". The sample is on page 113. I used our new Whisper White Thick Cardstock, OMG perfect for cards like this! If you haven't tried it, I would suggest you do. I was able to crank out four cards with this simple design.

Card Stock: Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Inks: Sahara Sand, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron
Other: Regals Designer Buttons, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Banner Triple Punch

Up next is Crystal, can't wait to see what she creates for this blog hop.

Di's Country INKers Blog Hop

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to another edition of Di's Country INKers Blog Hop! You can guess the theme of our blog hop this month.  Can't believe it is already February 1st!  If you are just stopping by, you just left Barb's blog and saw her awesome project. Isn't it adorable?

I created a very simple project for today's blog hop.  It's a candy holder. If your loved one loves chocolate for Valentine's Day, this is a cute way to give them chocolate.

Up next is Crystal, can't wait to see what she has in store for us!

New 2016 Catalogs!

Happy Tuesday Stampers!  Hope the new year is off to a great start for you!  So excited for today!  Our new 2016 Stampin' Up! Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs go live today!  Meaning you can now order the awesome new stamp sets and accessories from the Occasions Catalog and you can earn FREE products!  How cool is that!  If you don't currently have a demonstrator that you order from, let me know and I'll send you a catalog.

This card features the stamp set Number of Years with the coordinating Large Numbers Framelits Dies.  You can get both as a bundle and save 15% off. Did you see the card I made for our blog hop January 1st? This is the same stamp set and framelits I used on that card.

Now for the inside of my card, it features the new Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies. These are so much FUN!  They will be a fun addition to your handmade birthday cards!  Two different dies come in the package and they are also available in French. I made this card for a good friend who is celebrating her 36th Birthday. I hope she likes it.

And this card features two stamp sets only available in the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) catalog. The sweet little chick is from the Honeycomb Happiness set and the sentiments are from Hello set. I paper-pieced the chick with DSP that is only available in the SAB catalog, it's called Perfectly Artistic DSP. The super cute honeycomb embellishments is available in the Occasions catalog. You get 12 embellishments in three different colors.

That's all I have for now, I'm happy to be creating again and sharing with you all. Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.

Happy 2016!

Happy New Year Friends! Hope 2015 was a good year for you. I'm excited for this fresh beginning!  Looking forward to creating and sharing more in 2016.  One of my goals for the new year is to send out more cards! Sounds easy enough, but somehow it doesn't end up being that way.  Anyhow, it's the first of January, which means it's time for another fun blog hop with my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators with Di's Country INKers!  As you can see, the theme is new items from the 2016 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs, which goes live on January 5th, 2016. Both catalogs are awesome!

I created a card to ring in the new year! I had this idea in my head and I'm glad it turned out good. The numbers are part of a bundle, you get the Number of Years Stamp Set and the Large Numbers Framelits Dies. I love this bundle and have so many ideas for cards and scrapbook pages. The hello sentiment is from a limited-time Sale-a-Bration stamp set called "Hello". It's a set of nine stamps. Love the font of it. I inked in Cucumber Crush. The numbers were die cut in Gold Glimmer Paper and they are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I brushed the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush in clear onto the Hello sentiment, love the way it adds a touch of glitter. You definitely want to get one to play with. I also decorated the inside of my card, because 2016 is going to be an awesome year!

Up next is our awesome leader and my amazing Upline Diana Gibbs. She is such an inspiration to me and is always so helpful. Love her project.

Dia De Los Muertos Greeting Card

Welcome Crafty Friends!  Welcome to our Dia de Los Muertos Crafty Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing line up!  Make sure you visit all the blogs for some great inspiration!

Tons of meaningful projects to make that celebrate Dia de los Muertos!

I'm a paper crafter and I created a handmade greeting card featuring a Dia de Los Muertos couple. The technique I used with my background paper is called the starburst technique. Great technique to highlight your favorite background paper. The background paper is from Crafty Chica Papers and the series is called Mojito Papers. I've had these papers for awhile and always happy to use them during this time of year. I love Dia de los Muertos and here in Phoenix, Arizona there are lots of festivals and events to celebrate the passing of our loved ones.

Di's Country INKers Blog Hop

Hello Stampers! Welcome back to another fun blog hop featuring my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We are all part of Diana Gibb's Country INKers group. If you are just arriving, wasn't Barb's creation awesome! As always, her blog buttons are super cute!

The inspiration for my card came from Wicked, the musical. It is currently playing at the ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, AZ. I've seen the play before and loved it!

I CASE'd the beautiful card from Jennifer Timko and her fabulous creation using the partial die cut word border tutorial. This was a fun card to make. Definitely practice on scrap paper first before you start cutting your DSP. Can you imagine all the fun cards you can make with the Little Letters Thinlits? Might be a good idea to have a second set on hand for extra letters. Have you tried this technique before?

Up next is Crystal, can't wait to see what great project she has in store for us! Make sure to leave some comments on everyone's blogs.
