Celebrate...Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Hope your weekend is going well. Back today with a new Sunday Stamps creation, this time we have a Sunday Stamps color challenge. The Stampin' Up! colors are Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay. The Close to My Heart colors are Lagoon, Canary and Chocolate, general colors are yellow, teal and brown. This challenge will run for three weeks so you have plenty of time to create and join us.

I want to take a brief moment to thank Holly Endress for giving me the opportunity to design for Sunday Stamps! It has been a wonderful two years. I've truly enjoyed being a part of a great design team. It's time for new designers to be showcased on Sunday Stamps. When I started blogging I never thought that I would be designing for a blog challenge. It's been a fun ride. I'm exited to see the creations of the new designers and I know I will continue to play along with their challenges. Thank you again Holly!

I combined our color challenge with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge to create a general card.

I inked up a new stamp set (to me), Beautiful Bunch and I really like that we have a coordinating punch. Can't wait to ink up all the images in this set.  Thanks so much for stopping by, until next time.

Nacho...Corner Garden

Happy Tuesday Stampers! We have a fabulous new color challenge for you today starting at Nacho Average Challenges. We love seeing your creations and hope you will create with us! We can't wait to see how this color challenge will inspire you!

Here is how the colors inspired me:

I colored in the Corner Garden background stamp with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. I inked both background stamps onto Shimmery White card stock. Have you colored with the Blendabilities yet? They are lots of fun!

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.

Sunday Stamps...Twins!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Happy Sunday to you! Ah...the first Sunday of June! Can't believe it! The new Stampin' Catalog officially starts tomorrow!  Can't wait!

We have a fun new Sunday Stamps color challenge for you starting today!  Remember, our challenge runs for two weeks!  This color challenge stumped me for awhile but after seeing the creations from my fellow Sunday Stamp designers, I was inspired!  I hope it will inspire you as well.

Here is how I how I used our colors for today's card:

I've been having so much fun using this brand new stamp set, Something for Baby and the coordinating framelits, Baby's First. Now, I personally don't know anyone who is having twins, but I thought the sentiment was perfect for my card. The base of my card is Bermuda Bay layered with Sahara Sand.

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time!

Tis' the Season Thursday

Morning Stampers! Can't believe it's Thursday already!  I'm back today featuring another stamp set that is being retired. Which retired stamp set are you going to miss?

The designers over at Tis' The Season have a wonderful inspiration photo for creating Christmas cards all year long. It's been awhile since I played along with them and with our new Stampin' Blendabilities Markers I had the perfect stamp set to color in! Never to early to start working on holiday cards, no? Hopefully I'll play along with them more often.

Below is how the photo inspired me:

I love this stamp set, Joyful Christmas! I colored it in with our Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. Not sure if it will be in the new Holiday Catalog, which we, as demonstrators won't be able to preorder from until sometime in August. Anyhow, it's a great set to color in.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, until next time!

Nacho...Happy Watercolor

Happy Tuesday Stampers! Hope your week is going well!  We have a new Nacho challenge for you starting today! This week it's a sketch! We hope it will inspire you to create with us!

Here is how our sketch inspired me to create this week! I combined some retired items with new InColors and some returning items! So happy that the Hardwood background stamp is staying around for awhile. I inked it with Baked Brown Sugar onto Sahara Sand. Love this look! So sad that the Happy Watercolor stamp set is not being carried over into the new catalog, I didn't ink it enough! I inked it onto the Shimmery White card stock and layered with Blackberry Bliss.

The background splash was inked with Lost Lagoon, which I stamped off first and then continued stamping. I watercolored the flowers with Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow. I also colored our Pearls Basic Jewels with our Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blendabilities Markers.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you have a chance to create with us this week.

Sketch Frenzy Friday Swap!

Hello Stampers!  Wow, I can't believe it's Friday already!  Don't get me wrong, I'm happy it is!  It's been a long work week for me! I'm looking forward to the weekend!

I have another swap to share with you today!  This one is the one I created for our swap with Diana Gibbs and Rhonda Morgan. We had to make 20 swaps and the theme was feminine.

The Designers at Sketch Frenzy Friday have a great sketch that really caught my eye and I decided to play along with them this week.

Here is my take on their sketch:

With all our DSP retiring to make room for all the new DSP, I decided to make my own. I was so happy when I saw that the Hardwood Background stamp is in the new catalog! Actually, all the stamp sets and accessories I used on this card are in the new catalog! Whew!

I stamped the Hardwood stamp with VersaMark onto Sahara Sand card stock, to create a subtle background. The Regarding Dahlia is stamped in Rich Razzleberry. My color scheme for this card is Rich Razzleberry, Strawberry Slush, Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. Do you think this is a feminine card?

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a fabulous Friday and a super weekend!  Come back on Sunday when I share my creation for our new Sunday Stamps color challenge.

Sunday Stamps Watercolor

Happy Sunday Stampers! It's the first Sunday in March and we have a wonderful color challenge for the next two weeks to inspire you at Sunday Stamps. Thanks to all of you who played along with us using Marie's sketch, wasn't it great!

The weather has been beautiful in Phoenix the last couple of days, with high 70s sometimes low 80s, but I suspect that it will be a very hot summer! Might as well enjoy the comfortable weather while we can. Anyhow, remember you can use any brands of stamping products for your creation. We hope you will join us, love seeing what you create.

This is how I used our colors:

The base of my card is Baked Brown Sugar, layered with another piece of Baked Brown Sugar, stamped with the Hardwood Background stamp in bleach! Have you ever stamped with bleach? I love it, try it out if you haven't yet. I also inked up for the first time the Happy Watercolor stamp set from the Occasions catalog. I'll be using that stamp set a lot more! I also used two Sale-A-Breation sets that you can earn for Free; Banner Blast and the same set in Spanish.

I also used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch blog for my creation today. The cool thing is there is no time limit to link up your creation to their site!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and have a chance to create today! Until next time.

Nacho...Bunny!

Happy Tuesday everyone! How's your week going? We, the Nachos, have a fun new sketch for you at  Nacho Average Challenges. We hope you will join us! Love seeing what you create!

Here is my creation, took some creative liberty with the sketch, hope you can still see the sketch.

I was in the mood to create an Easter card for our sketch this week. Not sure if the final result of my card is what I was thinking in my head, but it looks cute!

Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time.
