Sunday Stamps...Twins!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Happy Sunday to you! Ah...the first Sunday of June! Can't believe it! The new Stampin' Catalog officially starts tomorrow!  Can't wait!

We have a fun new Sunday Stamps color challenge for you starting today!  Remember, our challenge runs for two weeks!  This color challenge stumped me for awhile but after seeing the creations from my fellow Sunday Stamp designers, I was inspired!  I hope it will inspire you as well.

Here is how I how I used our colors for today's card:

I've been having so much fun using this brand new stamp set, Something for Baby and the coordinating framelits, Baby's First. Now, I personally don't know anyone who is having twins, but I thought the sentiment was perfect for my card. The base of my card is Bermuda Bay layered with Sahara Sand.

April Fools Blog Hop

Hi Stampers!  Welcome to my first ever blog hop!  I'm excited to participate with such a great group of stampers! We're all part of Diana (Di) Gibbs group. This month's theme is April Fools!

If you just got here, wasn't Barb's project adorable! She also created our cute post header and our graphics for our blog hop! Thanks Barb! 

So here is what I created for our blog hop:

I chose to do a birthday card with a funny sentiment on the front and the card has a trick! What's the trick you ask? Well, it's a tri-shutter card! This is a great card to highlight your favorite DSP! For me, the Kaleidoscope DSP is one of my favorites from the Occasions Catalog. I also combined two different birthday stamp sets; Make a Cake and Remembering Your Birthday.

Happy...Sunday Stamps Sketch!

Happy Sunday Stampers! Hope your weekend is going well. I'll be spending all day today crafting and creating with Di Gibbs and Rhonda Morgan at Spring Fling! I'm excited to spend the day creating  using items from the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs.

We have a fun new sketch for you at Sunday Stamps starting today.  Marie created this great sketch which I think is a great way to highlight your favorite designer series paper. We hope you get a chance to play along with us! Can't wait to see what you create!

Here is my take on the sketch:

I love the colors in the Kaleidoscope DSP pack. So bright and cheerful and paired with the sentiment from Yippee-Skippee! is perfect! Hard to see in my photo but the first and third panels are popped up with dimensionals.

Sunday Stamps Spring!

Well hello Stampers! Oh my goodness I have you missed creating with my fellow Sunday Stamps Designers and You! Better late than never, especially since our current challenge at Sunday Stamps runs until this Friday, February 21st at 6 pm EST. We hope you will join us.

Here is my creation using Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Gumball Green. This color combo is perfect for spring projects. The stamp set is Petal Parade and it's one of the free sets you can earn for free with a $50 purchase. I also used the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from the Occasions catalog to create this fun closure on my card. I learned how to create the closure from fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Dee Slater. 

 The sentiment on the inside is from the set Yippee-Skipee! and it's crooked, oh well, it's a handmade card.
