Happy Veterans Day & Tis' The Season

Hello Stampers! Happy Veterans Day!  A huge thanks to all our Veterans and all they have done! To their families as well.  Thank you!

Hope you had a nice weekend.  It was a busy and fun one for me.  I have been working on some swaps and my creations as part of the Design Team for Sunday Stamps and Nacho Average blogs.  You'll see those creations later this week.

Today I have another Christmas card to share.  This is the challenge over at Tis' The Season with the optional trimming of stripes. I knew I wanted to play along once I saw the banner.

This is what I created, a neutral holiday card.  I've been seeing the red holiday cups at Starbucks and  that was my inspiration.  The base of my card is Baked Brown Sugar layered with Crumb Cake and then Early Espresso. Some Cherry Cobbler with all those browns makes my cup pop.

Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time.

  1. Absolutely stunning Kathya! I love the use of the different shades of brown with the pop of red from the cup, plus the bakers twine! Great job with the challenge!

  2. Super cute twist on our sketch for this week, Kathya! I love all the different ways you incorporated stripes on your card! I'm not a coffee drinker, but waking up on Christmas morning to a cup of hot cocoa sounds pretty good to me. :) Thanks for playing with us at 'Tis The Season.
